The science communication magazine Mirades de Ciència of the Rovira i Virgili University (URV) features an article on IngreDiZymes (IDZ), a university spin-off created by the Nutrigenomics Research Group, highlighting its track record in the development of bioactive and functional ingredients and its commitment to transferring scientific knowledge to industry.

Entitled "Improving the Path from the Laboratory to the Market", the article includes an interview with Begoña Muguerza, Director of the Nutrigenomics Research Group, and Miquel Mulero and Néstor Ibarz, researchers and founding partners of IngreDiZymes together with the URV.

The interview outlines the origins of the company, founded in 2025 as the result of an extensive history of research and collaboration with companies in the food, nutraceutical, and cosmetic sectors. Since 2018, the group has developed nearly thirty research and technology transfer projects focused on the production, characterization, and scientific validation of functional ingredients with antioxidant, antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, and depigmenting properties.
