Experts and organizations convene at the Port Museum to tackle coastal sustainability

he TecnATox centre and the Catalan Society of Biology organized the second edition of the workshop "Proposals for Sustainability for a Coastline at the Limit" at the Port Museum of Tarragona. The event brought together experts, institutions, and social stakeholders to discuss the environmental situation of the Tarragona coastline. During the meeting, participants emphasized the need to promote protected areas, improve coordination between administrations, and strengthen research to address challenges such as climate change, dune regression, beach erosion, microplastic pollution, and the loss of marine biodiversity.
