The TERC group holds its first meeting at the Faculty of Medicine
The TERC group, recently recognized and funded by the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, held its first kick-off meeting this Tuesday, January 13, at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. This inaugural meeting made it possible to establish the calendar and the roadmap for the first strategic actions to be carried out over the coming months.
Among the agreed priorities, the establishment of an External Advisory Board with clear interdisciplinary representation stands out. This board will support the group in defining its lines of work and in identifying new scientific opportunities. Likewise, the upcoming call for projects for young researchers was announced, conceived to support interdisciplinary initiatives with the aim of boosting scientific creativity and fostering emerging collaborations.
The meeting also launched actions aimed at talent attraction, reinforcing TERC's commitment to attracting promising profiles and consolidating a dynamic research ecosystem. In addition, several outreach activities have been planned to bring research closer to society and to increase the visibility of the group both within and outside the URV, which will be carried out in the coming months.
