Scientific leadership of TecnATox within the URV and on an international scale
The Rovira i Virgili University (URV) has placed 51 researchers among the most influential in the world, according to the database updated in 2024 by Stanford University, positioning it as the leading university in Catalonia and Spain in scientific influence. Of the 51 researchers included, 21 appear in both rankings (impact throughout their entire career and during the last year). Among these names stand out the two emeritus professors and co-founders of TecnATox, Jose L. Domingo and Marta Schuhmacher, with Jose L. Domingo ranking first in both lists. In addition, three other TecnATox researchers appear in both rankings, including the group's director, Mònica Bulló, as well as Eduard Llobet and Martí Nadal, along with Montse Marquès, former co-director and current collaborator. All this reaffirms TecnATox's remarkable presence and scientific leadership within the URV and on an international scale.
