The 4th Conference on Bioactive Compounds and Nutraceuticals was held
The fourth edition of the Conference on Bioactive Compounds and Nutraceuticals, organized by the Nutrigenomics Research Group and the Uriach Chair of Nutraceuticals, brought together more than 200 participants, both in person and online, consolidating its position as a key event in research in this field. The meeting featured 18 renowned speakers in this area of research and a highly topical scientific program, addressing topics such as intestinal health, microbiota, obesity, and cognitive decline. As a novelty, a course was held the day before the conference for predoctoral researchers entitled "Updating Methodologies for the Study of Bioactive Compounds: From Theory to Experimental Validation." This course, in addition to the value provided by its own content, also emerges as a useful setting to foster interaction between younger researchers from the different TecnATox groups and other research groups participating in the conferences, which in turn will ensure future collaborations that will also foster research in this field.
The event reaffirms its role as a leading forum for bioactive compounds and nutraceuticals and anticipates the next edition for March 12 and 13, 2026.
